ONSLAUGHT started in 1983 as a punk/hardcore band
influenced by DISCHARGE, THE EXPLOITED and GBH. Later on
they would turn metal and release cult thrash albums as
"Power from Hell" (1985) and "The Force" (1986).
This bootleg-cd has their early punk stuff taken from
various (rehearsal) demos and compilations:
01-13 : What lies ahead (demo tape 1983)
14-15 : compilation tracks from "Daffodils to the daffodils
here's the daffodils" LP (Pax Records 1984)
16-19 : Foxhole (demo tape 1984; tracks for an unreleased
7"ep)
20-24 : Demo tape 1984
Note: I had to remove a very annoying high-pitched sound
around the 16khz area to make this release listenable. Not
the only flaw on this bootleg though...
