Bio:
THE OCEAN is a musical collective from Berlin,
Germany. Drawing upon a vast variety of influences
their musical territory extends from soft and
playful, soundtrack-esque arrangements to
guitar-dominated outbursts of orchestral noise and
modern, technical hardcore. Flutes and trombones
belong to their means of expression just as much as
heavy, noisy guitars and furious drum attacks.
Their long and epic songs produce a vile, cold
atmosphere; a fact that is further supported by a
MIDI-triggered light-show on stage. Though the
bandconcept is also featuring aggressive shouting
vocals the bands debut Fogdiver is pure
instrumental. These 5 Songs will take you on
journey through time and space and could only leave
you with one feeling: repeat...
Like Radiohead with some inspiration from northern
